[It's not a negative, though! Even if it's only a loose concept, and one that she can't prove or disprove either way, that frustration she might have felt towards him might have been a warped sense of confusion. Junko, as a kid, couldn't entirely grasp what a mate was but did that really bar her from feeling it? A sense of connection with someone for no identifiable reason would have been confusing for a little kid. And what kids do when they didn't understand?

... Who knew, but Junko always acted out until she'd outgrown a particular stage of her life and begun to control her emotions a little more.]


Now you can touch me whenever and however you want. [And it won't be incredibly weird or unsettling, either! She kisses him, then, but it's a little gentle, maybe a little softer than it should be for that moment.] I have to be the luckiest girl in the world.

[There's a part of her that wants to ask why he would bother her now, when she's still too young and hardly possesses anything that might make her worthy of him. But she knows better than to get into that, and they're having a good moment here.]
