[ He answers that just a little sheepishly because while it's true it's a little bit guilt inducing to him that even Junko isn't relaxing enough for his mental state at the time. Wait though does that mean she watches him... ]

Mm ... Well, I can appreciate that both you and Junko have your own agendas, but I suppose you might have to exclude me from whatever you have going on for a little while.

[It's not really her fault if neither of them can shift their ideas, and she'd said as much multiple times but maybe she was easily ignored or something.]

Besides, you just said you don't even know what to make of me as it is.

[So there was no reason to be upset that he might not do one thing or the other with her, right? In any case, she's begun to lead them back towards the stairs.]

[ but that.... that just seems sad. Sadly and weirdly conclusive for something which he's not been privy to more than half the discussion about. The alpha frowns. And then knowing he's being too forceful as he follows... ]

[It might be a good thing that he can't see her expression too easily just because she's a step or two ahead of him - because when he says that she nearly rolls her eyes. Well, maybe it was a bit presumptuous to think he'd understand, even if the disciplines were rather different, he had to be as focused and intense about his tennis as she did about ballet.]

Everyone enjoys being crushed on, probably? Though I can't pretend to know for sure.

[Robin left it at that as they made it into the living room. True to her word Junko had made sure that everyone came back down, and they filled up the living room quite nicely. Robin took up the lone reclining chair that was near Charlotte.]

So, [Junko barely looked up from her phone at Yamato.] introductions and all that.

[ Yamato may or may not be presumptuous himself and that may or may not be a side effect of being an alpha. But for all his ability to sympathize with people it was hard to fully understand people you just met.

Still, now at the room... well, first things first let's get some attention. So he clears his throat and tries out his deep authoritative alpha voice he'd been practicing into the mirror ]

Hello everyone. Please focus on me for now.

[ He sincerely hoped Junko picked people actually predisposed to obeying him so he doesn't look dumb. ]

[Charlotte and Jasmine had been talking the most, and the former paused and Jasmine ended her phone call about as politely as could be expected, given the situation. Mya remained attentive, as did both Jasmine, Robin, and Tiffany.

Junko looked up from her phone to let her brother know she was present, but everyone pretty much knew her so she figured that this was more for everyone else's sake than her own.]

Okay. So I'm Yamato if you haven't met me.

[ He doesn't think he's properly met Mya and he knows he's never seen Jasmine before period. But good, good, despite a perhaps overly eager smile spreading onto his face as he glances around the room, he is managing to keep his serious Alpha Voice. That said, he didn't really release his scent now, so does is still work? His dad could make it work... What did Junko even intend for him to do here-- ... No, no, just focus, keep it collected. ] Junko brought you all here to meet me and to meet each other. And... maybe something more too. Could you please each introduce yourselves?

[ There, that's a decent start ]

[It is more than decent and, while this really isn’t the time or place to do so, she’d genuinely applaud her brother on relying on just his confidence. The ability to present himself strongly was far more important than just relying on biology, after all. But in this group were individuals who were far more cautious and those who were more immediately personable, and it stood to reason that the latter would perk up first.

Which basically meant Jasmine was the first to speak up.]

I’m not gonna sound as cool, but my name’s Jasmine Moreno. I used to [POINTED LOOK AT JUNKO.] work at the mall until a certain pair of jerks wrecked that completely. [And yet she didn’t look particularly upset by it.] I decided to come along because Junko said Yamato was cooler!

[No one had really asked her to provide an explanation and yet there it was! And it seemed a logical addition so it inevitably continued when Charlotte went next.]

To be fair, you sounded perfectly lovely. [There’s a very chipper “thank you!” from Jasmine.] My name is Charlotte, and I am Fred’s mate and Yamato’s manager, I haven’t been feeling too well, so the fresh air will help, I’m sure.

[A side effect of her pregnancy, and on top of that she really did come along to make sure Yamato had a good time, but that felt like too much to say for the moment. Tiffany, then:]

… Hey, I’m Tiffany. I’ve actually known Junko and her mom for a while [There’s a slinking look in Yamato’s direction because is she supposed to mention their messing around or??] and the former invited me, I figured anyone who was friends with these two must be fun so I came along.

[ Yamato does his best to look interested and imperial at the same time. The result is mixed because he perks up with amusement at Jasmine and then smiles a little bit too warm and relieved at Charlotte. Tiffany he stumbles on how to respond to until he just winks. Hoping that looks cool.

Did everyone know that he played tennis to mention that to the group. Probably not? Yeah.

Fred speaks up next. ]

I'm Fred and I'm good friends with our host here. [ apparently Yamato is the host even though Junko invited them and it was Robin's house... ] I used to be his doubles partner until he went all hardcore and started placing in the top four at regional tournaments. [ There is no bitterness in his tone he just sounds sheepish and leans into Charlotte a little. ] And like she said this beautiful gal's my mate.

[ a brief silence followed that as of it seemed expected that someone else would speak or Fred might say more. Yamato himself was about to say something maybe even something about tits when... ]

I'm Olivia!!! I'm in Junko and Yamato's pack already with my dad! And - and... and I guess that's it!

[ the silence returns... and after five seconds not wanting to be the cause of it again Olivia just blurts out, ] His bigass Johnson will feel good so just take it!

[ she may or may not be nakedly looking at Yamato's crotch with a red face and manic eyes ]

[And then there's silence. Junko is textbook deadpan at that, Tiffany looks vaguely concerned for Olivia, and Jasmine laughs behind her half - mostly because she thought Olivia was being funny. Robin wisely decides to keep her mouth shut, though her expression could be interpreted as mildly concerned - about what is an inevitable mystery.

Mya actually talks first:] Literally for the sake of everyone in this room, take some prozac, it'll do wonders.

[Which, in some ways, was a very accurate introduction! But thankfully she went on to say more.] My name is Mya, I'm a journalist and I'm friends with Robin. I enjoy walks on the beach and sparring and chocolate frosting. [She laid out both palms in a sort of 'and so??' kind of gesture. That was it, what else could be asked of from her.

Which left only one girl left, and because it only made sense for so many eyes to look her way it also only made sense that Robin flushed a little, buckling a little under the weight of their attention.]

My name is - Robin Bailey and, like Junko said this house belongs to my parents! Oh, by the way, there's a cook so if you don't want to spend a lot of money eating out you'll only have to wait until nine in the morning, one in the afternoon, or seven at night. There's - snacks and all that otherwise --

[Mya tilted her head towards Robin and her naturally caustic tone softened for her:] Robs, you're supposed to talk about yourself, not the house.

[She rubbed the back of her neck, nodded lightly, and began again,] ... Right. So, I'm, uh, a dancer, actually? And I'm adopted ...

[Mya cut in again, patting Robin's head.] Stop talking.

[ Olivia starts at that and is just about to say something thato may or may nother have been "fuck you" at my apartment. Fred is no longer there to shut her up but Yamato perhaps anticipating that gives her a Stern look which sees her both bite her lips with obvious attraction and also silencing herself. And making the room smell of maple. Oops. ]

Junko?

[While the scent of maple is a bit odd for some of the people in the room Robin looks particularly grateful that Olivia was preemptively quieted, and Tiffany seems weirdly impressed. But the other Kida in the room is mostly just surprised to hear her name.]

Wait, me too? [Well, alright then.]

Basically all of you know me, I'm Yamato and Koji's sister and Robin and I put this trip together. It was for a lot of different reasons, like Charlotte said she needed the fresh air, I'm trying to get over a few personal issues, Jasmine and Robin are going through rough spots, too. If I see an opportunity to take care of people then there's no point in passing it up. We all needed something out of this, so we're here.

[Yamato why did you tell her to talk? She was giving you room to bet he leader here but-] But it can be said that we are a group of people who might not fit in our current situations. If everyone could get to know one another and become comfortable, then that would be for the best. If nothing else, there's no reason to not have a great time.

[There. Yamato had a strong note to work off of, it could be taken in any direction, probably, but it wouldn't hurt for him to talk about himself, even if there were only a few people that were somewhat ignorant.]

[ He wanted Junko to make an introduction just to sort of make things right and proper. Even if everything is starting to smell like Maple and that's weird. Hopefully that isn't too appealing to anyone to create a chain. Yamato half expects Junko to react because she just tends to react to a lot of things.

Oh well though. Yamato inhals, and then taps a finger on his lips before... Oh, should he?

He... ]

Yeah, I'm sure we can all, uh, have fun. [ . . . Wait, no, inhale, and then deepening his voice again. . . . He looks hard at all of them in turn and, ] I'm Yamato, and I'm another one of the reasons this tip was put together. I hope that I can become all of your Alpha. I look forward to getting to know you better, and seeing if you guys can fit into that.

[ Junko would pick good picks, right? Sure, it's him personally but...

Was that too bold? ... The Maple scent got stronger and there might be a hint of lemon now too. Fred is looking a bit shocked he'd be that direct. ... Was that too direct? Probably. ]

[There's a bit of silence as they all consider what he's said and how it fits with each of them. As such, it isn't a negative or awkward quiet, though Olivia might be inviting the latter. A string of both honey and coffee enters the mix because, by now, it's impossible for Junko to avoid reacting, and Charlotte reacts dually to both Yamato and Fred.]

I'm really glad to hear all of that, and I'm more than willing to talk you, dude, but not right now.

[Mya was the first and the most resolute in her decision. She stood and gave everyone a wave, except for Robin, who got a pat on the head before she turned to leave the mingling of scents.]

Wait, so you're trying to build your own pack now. [Tiffany wasn't particularly above reacting to any of this either, but she was doing her best to maintain some control. Out of them all she was the one who was least informed, of course, so her confusion wasn't exactly unfounded.]

What does it matter as long it ends up being fun? [Jasmine's advice was clearly top tier.]

[ Honestly, Yamato expected more of them to walk off so when Mya does... he doesn't really blame her. There was some base part of him who had already formed a follow up to that, trying to make some sort of show out of this the way Koji might, like releasing a shit load of his scent and insisting that one of them step forward to blow him in front of the others. But when Mya walks off before he can do much more than wave her off with a somewhat strained smile that dies in his chest. Man, he hopes he pulled that off at all...

... There's more questions.

Also there's a lot of scents in the room, but at least he's controlling his own. ] Well, I'm not in a position to really uh, do it on a practical level, but I'm sort of hoping to? [ . . . That was to Tiffany and that was awful. Uh- ] I only really realized I could in December, so I'm trying it out.

Hm.

[Tiffany accepts his answer so that's something, but because her response is the very definition of ambivalent there isn't a lot to be gleaned from it. Was it good? Bad? Did Tiffany disagree? No one could really say. She also didn't attempt to stand and leave, either.]

Doesn't it seem kind of preemptive? I mean, why even want that much responsibility? [Jasmine's sort of thinking out loud, and she waves a hand.] I mean, I hate the idea of being in control of anything, so maybe it's a personality thing? Do Alphas just want to be in control of everything?

[Her own experience would say so, but it didn't hurt to ask.]

[ Junko help him Mya left he suspects that others might to and someone needs to make sure Olivia does because she's going to make a mess of things.

... Is what he's thinking, but he tries to remain cool and in control, even if his shoulders do slump forward a bit, feeling weirdly dejected over what's just simple questioning. He's not that much of an egotist but... still. His self-confidence is still a comparatively recent thing and he's been thrown into the fire here, assuming that he read Junko's intentions with this right. And if she didn't intend this thennn...

He just made an add of himself.

But he smiles at Tiffany before turning to Jasmine, trying hard not to glance around at Robin or anyone else to gage more approval or disapproval ]

There's uh... I mean, I guess there's a bit of a buzzing in my head. It's been feeling it for a while, but more strongly lately that I want to [ . . . control people would be bad wording here uh - uh.... ] Accept responsibility? About stuff.

[ Or maybe censoring was bad...? ]

No one should have control for only control's sake.

[Yamato may not have wanted to look to Robin for much of anything, because without knowing how she could be, her statement could feel unbearably cold, in a sense. But to Yamato's benefit Junko does cut in here to assist her brother.]

No one should shy away from control simply because it's an immense responsibility.

[It is, if anything, a battle of philosophies, and both girls seem to know that neither of them is right, per say, and the stalemate seems to calm whatever ferocity Robin had been feeling. Junko continued,] Anyway, like Yamato said, right now the grander picture is a little far off. This is the prologue, enjoy it for what it is.

Yeah so uh... We'll talk! And you guys can talk with each other or ask me anything like this was on of those ama's or... you know. Whatever.

[ Robin's reply did seem cold. But then, he also didn't know the girl all that well. So... so he shouldn't have expected much of anything. Yamato didn't know what to expect, but he hoped this might go better. But then he's not sure it wt poorly? So... so is it over? Or they can ask him things or someone seriously gag Olivia and take her to the other room this room smells like Lemons, Honey, Coffee, and Maple now. And he is able to hold himself back but he wonders if the others will react or not.

Also it's a struggle for him too...

A bit leaks. ]

Oh dear.

[Charlotte finally moved from her spot, and did a very good job of pretending as if she weren't already wet and eager the way her slow, pulling scent indicated. The little boost from Yamato wasn't helping, but she had the sense to block Olivia's view of the new Alpha.]

Olivia, you should go and help Mya. Tiffany?

[Said girl, who had appeared to be lost in some sudden, immediate trance, struck to life when Charlotte's tone reached her ears.]

Right, uh, oh, yeah.

[Tiffany stood to begin trying to herd Olivia into some other room with Charlotte's help, the young woman smelled, of all things, like sunflowers and it melded rather nicely with nearly everyone in the room except for Junko, and arguably Fred as well, based on preference.

Assuming Olivia can be good and listen to the far older woman and the one closer to her own age - they would be left with Junko (incredibly frustrated and horny to the point where she knows to keep still, trying to grit through it), Jasmine, Fred, and Charlotte, who had a plan!]

[ Olivia doesn't want to go along with it, but she also doesn't go kicking and screaming so much as pouting and settling for checking Tiffany out while pretending that she wasn't. If she can't have Yamato, can't she drag that blonde boy with them too? In fact she asks that, which sees Fred laugh awkwardly and stand as well, breaking the distance between him and his mate, to ghost up behind her in front of Yamato and next to Jasmine.

Yamato, for his part, is trying to control the thread of his scent. It's not easy. when there's so much to react to in the room. Junko is holding back but is horny, Fred and Charlotte just nakedly smell good, and Jamine probably reacted too? But ...

Looking for something to center himself on, he turns to Charlotte and, fairy demandingly, he says, ]

During your introduction, you used my name.

[ As opposed to "Master," that is! That promise back then was an unreasonable demand in some ways, and he knew it, but he had made the promise and it gave them a little kink, so he tried to hold her to it. Fred, for his part, frowns behind her and actually dares to speak up, ]

You can forgive her for that, I mean uh- come on man.

[If anything Jasmine seems unnaturally pleased by all of this, and the faint scent of cinnamon is about the only indicator. That she's perfectly still and grinning as if this is all incredibly amusing is justifiably strange, and Junko quietly undergoes the process of trying to get up and leave.]

Mm. That did happen.

[Fred's probably more upset about Yamato bringing it up than she is, and it's sweet of him - it makes her love him even more in that moment and her scent swells in a sweet, almost inherently loving way as a result - but it's not exactly her focus. Since it isn't an attempt to dissuade his authority Charlotte's tone is gentle, but this does seem a little unfair.]

But it seems there are still people who need just as much [She tilts her head, how to put this in a way he can spin it ...] remedial attention!

[The fact that Junko stops cold and glares like an angry wet cat might be vaguely terrifying. They're an odd group.]

[ Fred actually pouts, just a little, at the fact that both his mate and his Al--- best friend don't verbally acknowledge his response, but he does find solace in the shift in Charlotte's scent, his own gently wafting out in kind. He takes a step closer to her, giving Yamato as close to a defiant look as can com on the pleasant face of the blonde teenager. A look that Yamato acknowledges by way of not questioning.

Under other circumstances he might've given him a goofy grin or a thumbs up or something else suitably awkward.

But he was trying to get control, and trying to center himself. And as such he... He really should follow her implication, but Junko does scare him just a little. He exhales, and gives a decent smile, responding, ] We'll still have to punish you accordingly later. ... Sorry, Fred.

[ . . . The other teen blushes despite himself. ]

But what do you mean?

[ It's a bit weak of him to ask that, to make her give it any sort of word or at least nudge him in the direction. But he's always relied on people for that. ]

[She'll have to make it up more thoroughly to Fred later on, but for now she does reach back for his hand, squeezing. But as for her eventual punishment - well, that's fine, and it was never that she disagreed or really even minded. It's just that Yamato's had palms at his back, and now he has to ride the bike without as much assistance.

But she could at least give him a nice send off in a decent enough direction.]

It's important to let people decide what they're ready for, [After all, Mya had the right to leave. Olivia and Tiffany needed to, that was their choice, their consent in the matter for reasons which would be worth discovering on a more personal level!] but if they're individuals who might also become close with you, it's also just as necessary to look out for their baser needs. A pack is a family, after all.

[And family happens to come with incredibly varied problems, an Alpha has to know how to deal with them, or at least be willing to touch upon something that is difficult, in order to gain both traction and response. It might seem harsh to expect him to deal with two girls who were probably in need of a good fucking and one (Robin) that was far more cautious about it, but he couldn't learn anything by being held through the process.

Charlotte is, if nothing else, an old-fashioned type through and through: Sink or fucking swim, basically.

(That and it seems a shame for him to miss out on what could easily become a living room orgy, even Junko isn't being that difficult! Not yet, anyway.)]

[ Their baser needs...

Should he go deal with Olivia? Talk with Tiffany or Mya? Talk more with Robin...? Honestly, his brain runs through a thousand different little options now, but he finally smiles. He leans in, brushing her face a little, and he kisses Charlotte softly on the lips. He knows it's bold, perhaps arguably a little too bold while she's holding hands with her mate, but he wanted to thank her for being so supportive of him this whole time. And so he inhales as he steps back from her, and glancing shortly around at who's left in the room (Charlotte, Fred, Robin, Junko, Jasmine...)

And then he decides to let out his scent in earnest. He shoots out a torrent which bombs the room and demands all attention on him. He didn't want to do it during introductions because it seemed somehow unfair, but Charlotte was right.

He might as well at least see where this got him. And so, in a commanding voice he speaks to the room at large, ]

All of you should line up in front of me, please. And then take your tops off.
