Cait's really big on, like, everyone getting along, no one ever having any problem, that kind of thing. Thomas was a little firmer, and he might have had weird practices but I always knew if I really had a problem he would listen and deal with it in a way that wouldn't make me feel bad. One time Marney decided to be a dumbass and she pissed off another pack that was near us. She got us in a lot of trouble but Thomas never lost his cool, he ironed everything out like it was nothing. Marney did get in trouble but only as much as she deserved.

[She's really such a talker when given the opportunity, but for as light as her tone is, it's still a serious matter.] But Cait thinks everything can be solved by holding hands, and hoping it works out. I don't know if that's how she's just responding to her mate being the way he is right now, but it's not practical.

[She frowns, pausing in her stirring.] ... A lot of bad stuff was beginning to happen and when I had proof of that I went and told her. She didn't want to do anything, and no one else was brave enough to want to do something, so I was really frustrated.
