[Futurelandia] An Eventful Valentines and beyond (happy new year)

[ Nathan moved into tow and that was awkward, Yamato and Nariko probably have some sort of a relationship and that's awkward, Yamato's been trying to make new friends so that's interesting, and Masaomi and Nariko are hopefully solid as anything after that trip, Nathan and Yamato complications aside. There's a new pack member that Masaomi met at a party and Nariko met in class. It's been over a month since the new year began and the old one concluded.

A lot's changed and yet not a lot had at all.

And frankly, things were probably just going to change that much more in the coming days and weeks. this might be edited to something more poetic later once we conclude more stuff about that other log ]

[If they were already high, would he still feel comfortable in his ability to surmount them? Or would she become some weird slightly above figure in his head like Emily or his mom? Veronica's okay with having low standards for Koji, and high ones for everyone else.]

That's sort of philosophical, in a way. Not in a way he wants to parse through right now, but he makes a noise of begrudging agreement again into her chest to admit that yes, she might be right about that, and that seems like it might be for the best in both of them. But at the same time, especially in the afterglow, it's not like he planned his next topic or anything and while he did intend to fuck her more he didn't have a need to mouth off like an idiot ]
