[They're very lazy kisses on her end because she's not putting enough thought into it, slipping into the afterglow and the warm, obnoxious desire to curl up into the blankets with him and cuddlefuck for the next twelve hours. It's the nesting paired with hormones, a debilitating combination.]

[Nariko smiles and drags her teeth along his ear.]

[Hell, if they keep this up it might just be a matter of days. With some of her strength coming back she slides both palms up and down his back, tilting to kiss his neck at odd angles.]

[She wants to be serious for a moment but that requires so much effort right now.]

[ Oh, is there something serious here now? He'll be serious! ... And yeah, it might just be a few days, at this rate. It's not impossible. He laughs in a throaty way around how she reacted to him, and he nuzzles her a bit more ]

I'm glad you're helping her have a kid.

[Emily, of course. A part of it is that Emily is as good a friend as she is a pack mate but Nariko wants to make it clear this time that she's entirely supportive of this whole baby idea. She'd had to kind of phone it in with the open relationship deal, and this seems like a good way to make up for it. She really is supportive this time around, and it's nice to be on the same page, to share it.

But she's lazy and nipping him in weird places like an overactive kitten, too, so maybe there's a little depth missing here.]

[ You know this was a serious moment, so he really, truly, should know that she meant Emily. There's basically no one else that she could mean in context. And yet, despite that, the Alpha is briefly confused, and mutters out, related to the whole fantasy that they had been in- ]

[ Hadn't both Junko and Nariko both explicitly told him not to knock up her? ... But then he connects it, laughs in a throaty way, and he closes his eyes and sighs out ]

Oh... that's really great to hear.

[Well now it feels infinitely less cool to have said! She ends up laughing too, a little bit more clearly as she pinches his side.]

Does that mean you still wish you could go for her, too?

[There's no point in asking a question to which she already knows the answer, and yet!]

[ Okay, okay, fair enough, he did ruin that moment! He shakes his head, still smiling. He's not sure if they're in the fantasy land or serious land here, but he errs towards the later given that they did just have a somewhat serious moment ]

Don't make me speak against both of your requests, Nariko.

[ A bit sheepishly ]

[He's trying to be good about it, which is nice, but ...]

Is there a specific reason, at least?

[ A specific... reason... he hums a moment, and then seems to come to a good call. In truth, a lot of it is wanting to claim every female in the house, but if he stops to let himself think, he produces, ]

Well, right now, she's becoming more like you. And I can't help but think I should enjoy that while I have to wait for you.

[Well, if that wasn't a guilt inducing answer ... But she doubts that was Masaomi's actual intent, it was just how he felt, and he couldn't be blamed for that.]

If I were you, I'd just want to show her the joys of being impregnated, know that with every little change it was mine, that when she became obnoxiously horny, clawing for dick like a cat in heat, it was because of the child in her.

[ He all but pouts, but his scent is released liberally across the room at her little speech there because... well, she's right. That all does sound pretty great all things considered. But it would be a dick move to his brother and both his mate and the girl in question said no, but- ]

[ but what part did she mean about? ]

That was her mother speaking.

[It probably stands to reason that Masaomi is due to speak with his brother about a few different things, including he and Junko's apparent mateship which Nariko is trying to not be upset about.]

With the situation being as it is, there might be a middle ground.

[And they're rarely granted those, so they might as well take advantage.]

[ A middle ground, huh? ... Honestly, he's got a lot of people to talk to: Lana, Joshua, Ada, that Olivia girl, Rin... his other brothers, depending on who shows up? A lot. And he brushes her side a little and asks, with a pleased little whisper ]

Whatever do you mean?

[And somewhere in all of that he can't ignore his mate, either!! But he'll probably manage it just fine.]

Junko's afraid of sacrificing her future in order to be a good parent, and I don't want her to give up on her future for nothing but a passing whim.

[Because, frankly, there were enough grown women in the pack, and it was easy to gain more. Just because they hadn't actively recruited didn't mean they were incapable of it.] And as a girl that's just found her mate and is awfully, heart wrenchingly in love with him to the point of madness, it stands to reason that she would want her first child to be with her mate, not her father.

[It was maybe one of the ways in which her Alpha was kind of superseded.] But Rin can't be around to raise a kid, and who knows if that'll change. I think she wants to do it, but it's not in her to disrespect Rin or throw all of her hard work away. But if you and I raise that child, she still gets her future.

[And Masaomi gets his go around, and Nariko is guaranteed a grandchild from Junko within the next two years instead of whenever the hell Rin comes back around. Everyone wins.]

[ That's a really enticing logic, even if you ignore the fact that it's probably not normal (though it could be, depending on the pack in question) for a girl to expect her first child to be with her father. But at the sam time, there's a few holes in that, a few little quirks that he can't help but question. The first and perhaps most important of those is that, ]

Are you saying that that girl of mine isn't content to wait? It seemed to me that she never really intended to have kids until after she was through all of her degrees in the first place. Which is pretty long, but that's enough time.

[ He's arguing against himself at this point, but... ]

I'm saying that if she accepts that we have a village to raise a child, she'd feel more comfortable with the idea.

[Nariko had somewhat failed her daughter in this regard, because by the time Junko had come along she'd wholly dedicated herself to raising her kids. That wasn't to say that Ada, and even Sully, Tom, and Octavio hadn't helped but in Junko's eyes Nariko and Masaomi were the parents. They were there. So for Junko to have a child and then not be there would work against everything Junko views as 'normal'.

Kids take after their parents examples, after all.]

[ He closes his eyes, and he processes the information, the idea that his kids... well, was it that surprising, after how they reacted to their parents so much as having sex with other people? Sure, it felt natural and normal now, at least to him, but it stood to reason that so long without that being the case would have an effect on them, right? Yamato might be the same, or Koji...

Honestly, of either of them, he expected Yamato to internalize that the least, which is ironic just given his personality.

But the Alpha shifts in his seat, and then nods ]

Mmm, yeah, that makes sense. That's a belief on her part though, it's not like even if you or I tell her somthing to the contrary she'll accept it immediately.

Nothing in life is guaranteed.

[And ultimately no one in this world is going to convince Junko to do anything she doesn't want to.]

But I don't think there's any real harm in presenting another option. She can be very single-minded with her goals. [Which comes from the both of them, somewhat unfortunately.] If she makes the same decision with new information, then that's just how it is.

[ He sighs, a warm smile settling on his face. He brushes the side of her face and then leans in and kisses her softly. He nuzzles her face, and then says, ]

No, there's no harm in it at all. But what do you think about the idea? You did say that you weren't sure as a mother and you're no doubt jealous as a woman.

[ It was sort of her nature ]

[She snorts, but that's the only answer for a good few seconds.]

I want Junko to be happy. I want her to know that she can have anything she wants in this world. [And maybe that'll mean she cures cancer and funds non-profit organizations. Maybe it'll mean she has three kids and a picket fence. Or something else entirely, the girl is so multi-faceted that sometimes Nariko's amazed they made a human being so fucking intelligent.] It's only right that I expose her blind spots, whether I'm ready to handle the idea of her going through something so major or not. I'll never be ready to see her do certain things, but I have to stop making decisions for her.

[Their kids are old enough now that their real job is to protect and gently guide them. A lot of the actual work is done.]

And ... I'm not jealous, at least not in any way that isn't my own fault.

[As in, she's jealous that she isn't the first, but that's going to Emily, not Junko, so it's very internalized.]

[ This was a serious moment - a serious talk, something that they really, really should focus on an answer sincerely. But they had been focused on it this whole time, and he had given her more than one measured reply and his dick was lodged in her and there's no way he can keep his up. His tone turns coy, and he licks his lips a bit before planting a kiss on one cheek, and then the other, ]

Not even after I talk with her and Rin and I convince Junko that she needs to become my fuck slave, producing a whole other dynasty of whores for us to raise?

[Basically none of that is actually going to happen. If she actually thought he was being serious this would be a completely different conversation. But her mate is allowed to have his insane fantasies. Maybe it's appropriate for her to play at being jealous here, but she wouldn't be able to really sell it.]

Nope. She still wouldn't be me, though I'll admit she would make a worthy successor.

[But Nariko hasn't going anywhere and isn't, thanks, so Junko only gets to play second fiddle.]

[ Probably not, but he was returning to that fantasy land they had gotten mixed up in earlier, trying to build her back into the frame of mind. He was moving past their serious talk back int playing around. He licks his lips. He didn't expect her to be jealous, because she was so confident in the first place.
