[Futurelandia] The Thanksgiving and Early December Post

[ It's been around a month since everything started to change. And frankly, a damn sure more things have changed even in that month. There's simplistic ones, such as Masaomi getting a vasectomy which even if he tried to keep it on the downlow, everyone found out about because of what a whiner he was for his week of medical abstinence and everyone felt after that for how he proceeded to fuck every relevant woman in the house and who would sleep with him out of the house into submission for the next two or three days. Everyone sort of had a rude awakening there.

But then, some changes were bigger and more serious. A new member joined there pack (Veroncia) not all that long ago, and it was much to everyone except some of the adult's surprise. Everyone had to learn their new pecking order and where she fit in with the rest of them. Masaomi and Nariko continued their rituals and continued their seeing other people, to mixed results from both. Audrey was hanging around the house more, though she hadn't had the recommended Talk with Masaomi about joining, despite making this something of a second home for her. And of course, Junko's training continued despite the week long hiatus from it.

Everyone was changing, and everyone was adapting. Yamato even had a sexy car now. And at the culmination of everything, a sort of milestone in the midst of everything, there was Thanksgiving, the lead up to it, and the follow up after it leading into December. A time when a lot of people hung out in one house, and then things got weirdly tense for a variety of reasons. God bess us, every one. ]

[Cait had told her that it was just time for a change, honestly, and Veronica had mostly agreed with her. It wasn't that she was outgrowing her pack - she didn't think such a thing was even possible. The truth of it was just that her ideals were different from theirs, and she didn't belong anymore. To say it was outgrowing would just dumb the situation and she wasn't about that. When the Kida pack had been explained to her it sounded great, and showing up there, beaming, polite, but eager to meet and make the right impression: she felt she'd made the right decision for what was ultimately her adult life.

They were chill here. She respected Alpha Masaomi immediately and pretty much loved the female Alpha just the same. Sullivan was kind of weird but he seemed like he might be cool, Tom and the one named Ada were sort of odd but she didn't have bad impressions of them by far.

It was a lot of change but she'd handled it all pretty well! She was very proud of herself.

And in order to continue being helpful she'd volunteered to help with cooking dessert. Except ...]

Ah, Koji? [He's younger than her but he's got a stronger place here, so when she finds him she tries not to interrupt whatever he's up to.] I don't know where anything is in the kitchen.

... Okay that's beside the point. He looks up from his phone, pulls out one of his headphones, and looks up to see her in an apron. He blinks. Honestly, he'd thought the older girl was hot from day one, but now she was right in front of him and he -- he blinked, but then he smiled. He hopped up to his feet and offered a hand to her, trying his best to look charming or something ]

Yeah, okay. I'll point things out for you.

[... She doesn't know about any of that but she can be upset at them on your behalf, Koji?? Or whatever, what counts here is that he does offer to help her and she can breathe a sigh of relief, though to his offering of his hand she leaned in to kiss his cheek. Consdering that she was just barely 5'2 on a good day it wasn't difficult.]

He brings his hand back to his side and leads her back to the kitchen, pocketing his phone as he goes.

[ Despite him saying that, the kid smirks before going to collect them for her. The mixing bowls and cooking pans are in the same spot at least, so it's not going to be hard. Though he suspects he'll need to get her ingredients too ]

[Nope, no one was here! There's some other stuff going that she's trying not to interrupt or whatever but Veronica's mostly kept to herself today, and it's been a little lonely. She smiles, though, taking what she needs as Koji gathers it.]

Hey, you're the one who decided to go and grab it, I just wanted things pointed out! [She's really not overly concerned with that, though. Because:] But I guess if you absolutely require a form of payment I'm willing to bargain.

[She sets everything up very meticulously while speaking.]

[ Well damn, that's serious. Koji looks briefly conflicted about how he should respond to that, thankful he's busying himself with getting the items she requested. In the end, he gives her a solemn little nod when she gets back in front of her, leaning back against the counter. He can't possibly pull of something artful and sympathetic like his older brother might. Instead, Koji can distract her, and show her a fun time now. ]

Don't make me sound demanding now, that's just the law of the jungle, you know. [ Pretend that make sense. But either way, he waves his hand and tries to look cocky here, waving a hand ] Tell you what, I'll let you off easy. In return for that and every other bit of help I'll give you with the ingredients, you cook it with just the apron on.

[ He doesn't expect her to actually do it, and his little smirk could be seen as either showing he was joking, or challenging her. Or both ]

Hmm? Isn't that kind of unfair? Why do I have to be the only one baring so much!

[If it's a challenge does she succeed or fail by being so naturally mellow? The idea doesn't seem to bother her but she isn't outwardly reacting just yet either, and it's an easy thing to make it look like a matter of airheadedness when it's rather calculated on her end.]

I don't like this one-sided deal when I'm working so hard to make something for you and the family!

[So clearly he needs to promise something in return, whether it be intent or compliments.]

[ In spite of himself, the young man blinks. She actually meant to negotiate about this. That's... ... That's a little bit fun, even if she does come off a little ditzy in this moment. So while he does look surprised, he quickly rallies and points out, gesturing to the mixing bowl. ]

I don't even know what you're making! Isn't there a chance that I won't like it? And if I don't like it, you're not making it for me in the first place.

[ He'll get to offering more if this fails though ]

And for the record it's a lemon blackberry cake! It's a great dessert to have after all this heavy food! Way better than pumpkin pie.

[Her utter disdain for pumpkin flavored things is boundless, but also a topic for another day.]

[ He doesn't know what's in her heart. ... What does that even mean? No, he can't allow himself to fall into the trap of thinking too hard on it, so he crosses his arms and looks... over at her. She's only barely taller so he doesn't need to look up, that's nice. ]

... But she's already reaching up to undo her apron enough to work at throwing her shirt off sooo. Priorities.]

Maybe she really was a bit of a ditz?) grins, pushes off the counter, and sets to work on getting the ingredients. Koji isn't nearly the savant that Junko is nor the wordsmith that Yamato was on paper (and seriously how did someone so bad at talking write such good essays? Weirdo) but he was good at memorization. Math in particular, at least at his grade level, came exceedingly naturally to him simply because even if she rattled off that whole list in one go he could accurately recall everything on it.

It's perhaps because of that he pointedly doesn't stare at her stripping, instead just fulfilling his duty as he was asked and only stealing glances as he went about that.

[What she's referencing was a very small moment in time, something that Koji might not even deem important enough to have a memory of! When she'd first gotten here, literally on the first night, she'd kind of seen him in passing, going from one place to another. And with a profile glance at her naked apron, he tries to asses the petite girl's figure. Was she curvy, small all around? Any sort of quirks he couldn't have made out earlier? The main thing he noticed originally was that she had a very pretty face and very enchanting eyes, of all things. ]

[Men never seem to pay attention to those things, though Veronica herself is just weird enough to be aware of little specifics that might otherwise go unnoticed. It went a little beyond perception, but she had looked at Koji then and he just stood out more. It had been interesting.

But that's hardly the reason she appreciates his staring, she enjoys being looked at far too much to name it as anything but what it is! 'Petite' is the best word for her, her waist was a little small, and it made her ass look a little bigger than it truly was (perspective is everything) and for as slight as she happened to be her tits were a little big, edging close to DD territory. For a moment, he allows her to just continue with whatever set up she's doing for her baking...

But then he cools himself down, pushes off the counter, and heads towards the fridge to pour himself a glass of water. As he does, he replies again. ]

[ He tries to sound cool and maybe a little smarmy there, rolling his eyes as he does ]

She doesn't need to look at him to know the force of what she's done, it rings in the air between them, and it excites her. Because even though she had quite blatantly flung his own words at him Koji didn't give up, he regrouped and came right back with all the grace of a dog going after a bone.
