[Futurelandia] The Thanksgiving and Early December Post

[ It's been around a month since everything started to change. And frankly, a damn sure more things have changed even in that month. There's simplistic ones, such as Masaomi getting a vasectomy which even if he tried to keep it on the downlow, everyone found out about because of what a whiner he was for his week of medical abstinence and everyone felt after that for how he proceeded to fuck every relevant woman in the house and who would sleep with him out of the house into submission for the next two or three days. Everyone sort of had a rude awakening there.

But then, some changes were bigger and more serious. A new member joined there pack (Veroncia) not all that long ago, and it was much to everyone except some of the adult's surprise. Everyone had to learn their new pecking order and where she fit in with the rest of them. Masaomi and Nariko continued their rituals and continued their seeing other people, to mixed results from both. Audrey was hanging around the house more, though she hadn't had the recommended Talk with Masaomi about joining, despite making this something of a second home for her. And of course, Junko's training continued despite the week long hiatus from it.

Everyone was changing, and everyone was adapting. Yamato even had a sexy car now. And at the culmination of everything, a sort of milestone in the midst of everything, there was Thanksgiving, the lead up to it, and the follow up after it leading into December. A time when a lot of people hung out in one house, and then things got weirdly tense for a variety of reasons. God bess us, every one. ]

[ Well damn, that's serious. Koji looks briefly conflicted about how he should respond to that, thankful he's busying himself with getting the items she requested. In the end, he gives her a solemn little nod when she gets back in front of her, leaning back against the counter. He can't possibly pull of something artful and sympathetic like his older brother might. Instead, Koji can distract her, and show her a fun time now. ]

[ He doesn't expect her to actually do it, and his little smirk could be seen as either showing he was joking, or challenging her. Or both ]

[If it's a challenge does she succeed or fail by being so naturally mellow? The idea doesn't seem to bother her but she isn't outwardly reacting just yet either, and it's an easy thing to make it look like a matter of airheadedness when it's rather calculated on her end.]

[ He doesn't know what's in her heart. ... What does that even mean? No, he can't allow himself to fall into the trap of thinking too hard on it, so he crosses his arms and looks... over at her. She's only barely taller so he doesn't need to look up, that's nice. ]

[ Priorities indeed. The fourteen year old, confident in having made his point (even if he wasn't sure quite how that point had been made right there. Maybe she really was a bit of a ditz?) grins, pushes off the counter, and sets to work on getting the ingredients. Koji isn't nearly the savant that Junko is nor the wordsmith that Yamato was on paper (and seriously how did someone so bad at talking write such good essays? Weirdo) but he was good at memorization. Math in particular, at least at his grade level, came exceedingly naturally to him simply because even if she rattled off that whole list in one go he could accurately recall everything on it.

It's perhaps because of that he pointedly doesn't stare at her stripping, instead just fulfilling his duty as he was asked and only stealing glances as he went about that.

[What she's referencing was a very small moment in time, something that Koji might not even deem important enough to have a memory of! When she'd first gotten here, literally on the first night, she'd kind of seen him in passing, going from one place to another. It had kind of stuck with her in a way that had nothing to do with heat or even physical attraction.]

And so with his last item deposited in front of her (at least the last of what she listed off, there might be more, right?) he leans up against the counter again, now right up next to her.

And with a profile glance at her naked apron, he tries to asses the petite girl's figure. Was she curvy, small all around? Any sort of quirks he couldn't have made out earlier? The main thing he noticed originally was that she had a very pretty face and very enchanting eyes, of all things. ]

[Men never seem to pay attention to those things, though Veronica herself is just weird enough to be aware of little specifics that might otherwise go unnoticed. It went a little beyond perception, but she had looked at Koji then and he just stood out more. It had been interesting.

But that's hardly the reason she appreciates his staring, she enjoys being looked at far too much to name it as anything but what it is! 'Petite' is the best word for her, her waist was a little small, and it made her ass look a little bigger than it truly was (perspective is everything) and for as slight as she happened to be her tits were a little big, edging close to DD territory. But then he cools himself down, pushes off the counter, and heads towards the fridge to pour himself a glass of water. As he does, he replies again. ]

[ He tries to sound cool and maybe a little smarmy there, rolling his eyes as he does ]

[Veronica's busy mixing and putting things together with a natural sort of ease, she even hums a few bars of a song stuck in her head! She doesn't need to look at him to know the force of what she's done, it rings in the air between them, and it excites her. Because even though she had quite blatantly flung his own words at him Koji didn't give up, he regrouped and came right back with all the grace of a dog going after a bone.

I don't know if that's how she's just responding to her mate being the way he is right now, but it's not practical.

[She frowns, pausing in her stirring.] ... A lot of bad stuff was beginning to happen and when I had proof of that I went and told her. She didn't want to do anything, and no one else was brave enough to want to do something, so I was really frustrated.

[They were pathetic cowards, they weren't the people she had grown up with and learned from for nearly two whole decades. It had hurt - it still hurt, but that about explains why she would leave and come to the Kida pack, right?]

[ A lot of bad stuff? What's that mean, did she abandon them in their darkest hour, or did they abandon her when she found something bad? He didn't know, but he defaults to siding with her because hey, she's in front of him and hot. So Koji shrugs a little and reaches out his hand to run his nails lightly along her sides, exposed under her arms because the apron doesn't cover it. And then our Alpha comes there for whatever reason and you sign on with us.

[Koji's right to take her side even if he's doing it for basic reasons. Veronica was in the right here and she knew that. Pretty much. I spoke with him a bit and I asked a lot of questions but to be honest I got the sense that it wasn't really much of a choice to begin with.

[That the timing had worked out was mere coincidence, Masaomi and everyone involved beyond Veronica's understanding had an opportunity and they had seized it, apparently.] It's alright, though, I really like him and Mrs. Kida. I hope I can make them proud.
