[ Their pack's Christmas tended to be one which was full and chaotic, despite the fact that there were increasingly less children in the house as Yamato and Junko (and yes, Koji too) all grew to maturity. In some ways, this was actually more "kids" than had been in the house for it than in a long time, what with their new additions.

Still: Masaomi, Nariko, Ada, Sullivan, Emily, Octavio, Tom, Yamato, Junko, Koji, Veronica, and Audrey - Twelve people with at least one gift for everyone else, often times more in the case of those who were more generous or had deeper pockets or more to impress others with. The sheer number (even if it had grown over time) is probably what prompted them to set up a grate tree in one of the living room spaces which was probably meant to be a formal dining room and then lay out all the presents from everyone wrapped up under it andt hen sprawled out for a wide area around it all. There's chairs set up in a circle around the room to give everyone room to sit and the first one there (Which if, of course, Masaomi) brought bags for the wrapping paper to go into a recycle.

Also Masaomi has on a santa hat and a fake beard. Both of which Ada picked out years ago, and he wears mostly out of tradition. It's similarly out of tradition that he got up at the ass crack of dawn to sit in the room and eat some rice before anyone else got up, wait for them all to filter on in here usually starting with Ada or Sullivan or in recent years his eldest son so people can start to make breakfast and be ready. But either way, breakfast and present opening in the morning! A white elephant gift exchange game in the afternoon! A big dinner in the evening!

Christmas is a time of togetherness, where there has to be some structure, but there's a lot which can happen beyond all that and often did. Movies watched, songs sung, and even if this year of different and strange for a variety of reasons... well. It was still their day, and everyone would enjoy it. ]

Selina's the girl's Soccer captain. She's probably a better fighter than either of us put together on our best days, but she's not unstable or difficult. Travis is on the debate team with me and he's like Alfred, except more confident and put together. Not nearly as cute, though. But that point is mostly for me, not you. You need a bro type.

[ He nods ] Like dad and Sullivan, against all odds. But if he's not cute, would you even fuck him?

[ Could he make friends with this Travis guy...? Actually, on that note - ] We could try to take Fred anyway?

A good home and a good support system... but he doesn't have either of those which are uniquely his yet. And he won't for probably a decade, realistically. ]

That's why you have multiple girls, though, so it doesn't matter if I won't, there are other options.

And, anyway, you don't need a physical home to make people experience that feeling, and a good support system was anything from friends to mentors to actual blood relations. Obviously they wouldn't have what they needed to go moving out, but they could all begin to be friends, become a group. That sort of thing.]

[She is perfectly happy on her back, mostly because it keeps the tension off of her hips, which are just a little sore but all the same, she follows the way he's moving and won't complain any. Mostly because she isn't ready to be separated from him yet.]

Anthony is kind of like Tom, just a little more hotheaded. You'd really have to meet him.

It can't all just be pretty people, especially if half of them can't even manage to exist in the same area.

She's a good person, sometimes that's enough. [While Junko had specific reasons for everyone she chose there was something to be said of good personalities, and Tiffany seemed to have that.]

Maybe, but of all the women in our pack she'll be the easiest to take.

[After all, a lot of their pack was made up of older individuals, so maybe Audrey would fit in better with them anyway? Hm.] Just give her time.

[It might be easy to think she's not in that state of mind because she's so rational, but that's a gigantic mistake.]

I can't do anything about mom, or how much pull dad has on Audrey. [She pauses, considering her choice of words, here.]

If you can wait till tomorrow then I can bring Audrey to you. [And from there ... She doesn't doubt Yamato can do the rest of the heavy lifting. That she's willing to essentially bait her friend into this kind of situation should say quite a bit to Yamato, because it's really not Junko's style. But that desire to please him didn't end with sex so - here she is, offering something that isn't at all impossible, but might be a little ethically questionable, in terms of her friendship with Audrey.

Hopefully their friendship can endure.]

[And at the heart of it Junko believes that! It's just a little bit to unpack, the whole dynamic between the three of them, as well as just Yamato and Audrey, and it's only been a few weeks. But if it was based purely on attraction and response - which was what really counted here - then it would be alright, no breach of consent or anything.]

The idea of them being together still kind of bothered her for a lot of reasons, at the end of the day there were more than a few reasons to think Yamato and Audrey a less than ideal pair, but that rarely stopped people.]

Okay. Good. [She let's herself grin.] I mean, you should at least try and date Robin since I went through the trouble of picking someone for you.
