[Pokelandia] That one which isn't focused on Masanari

[ Rin has been on his Pokémon journey for the last five months. It's not exactly the longest journey ever, but for a teenager who didn't exactly have a plan when he set out other than wanting to catch up to his twin brother, with whom he's battled several times and still has a record that shows more losses than wins, it certainly feels like a long one. Certainly long enough for him to train up a reasonably strong team and to get used to things like sleeping outdoors when he's out of towns and cozying up in a Pokémon Center when he was in a town. The life of a trainer was being frugal, especially if you weren't a Pro.

Then again, there's still a lot you can do even without being a full Pro, which is shown by the fact that the teenager, through many hard battles, has probably seen a little more than half the country, hiked over a mountain, and earned three gym badges this far. In comparison to some legendary prodigies he's working at a moderate pace, but then he wasn't really aiming for the League Champion position and he wasn't really necessarily out to be the Best at first.

But he did want to be the Best in his family. But that's a whole other thing he's not really sure how to explain to anyone else. Rin's starter was a cute little Shinx who he began his journey with, and who in the aftermath of their climactic second gym battle actualized into a humanoid as a result of their celebratory bond. That was on of the proudest moments of his life. It's not necessarily rare for trainers to bond with a Pokémon to that extent, but it's also not necessarily common, and that gym leader had ruffled his hair and told him good job. Aside from here, he's caught maybe six or seven other Pokémon, of which three are in the care of the people running the academy he used to go to school in, his connected PC system. One of those Pokémon is Junko.

Junko is a beautiful and somewhat vain (or at least, he sees her as such) Sylveon who he caught after a fierce battle while hiking through a mountain range past a certain City. He wasn't able to fight the gym leader there who was supposedly away on business, but he did shake hands with the leader's son and promise to come battle them again some day. It's been about a month since then, and he's taken to sleeping against her as a pillow (at her suggestion) when they are camping outside, while many of his other pokemon prefer to rest in the comfort of their balls. ~~I leave you to decide how Audrey sleeps~~

And so... one morning, following such a rest-- ]

[She presses her ear against his chest a bit more, as if she could somehow get closer to it if she just willed it.] But it's just ... This time I'm going to make sure you win. That's all. N-Not like I was holding back before, or anything!

[That's really not the way she goes about battles, so it's not difficult to believe either way. For being so cute she's rather serious when it comes down to it.]

I have an older brother whose really cool. I love him to pieces, but it's always ... Difficult, you know. With siblings.

[Even more difficult when one sibling his human and the other is a creature.]

What're you listening for? I already had a heart, you know.

[ Or maybe human ears are different-- no, wait, she still has Sylveon ears. Maybe she processes them different now? Who knows, but be brushes the top of her head, almost expecting to get glitter on his hands as he does so. He runs a finger through her hair and smiles. She'll make sure he'll win, huh?

That's more or less what he wants to hear, isn't it? He grins, and - ]

Well you didn't be bad last time! Up and took out that Spiritomb of his real fast!

[ He's trying to be reassuring, but ... maybe that isn't necessary? That said, wait- ] I didn't know you had a brother?

[ He's kinda going in all kinds of directions ]

Right. So now with this, I can get all of them.

[She wouldn't wish any harm to those Pokémon which is exactly why they all stop at fainting and nothing more, but if it's for Rin, Junko will curb stomp their asses into paste. It would make Rin happy, right? And apparently she wanted to make so happy that she literally turned into a humanoid, so it's only logical that she could manage it now. ... Probably with Audrey's help, too.

In any case, she nods.]

My dad's a gym leader, and mom is his Flareon. Koji's a Glaceon, but Yamato's human, and the oldest. He's probably leaving home soon.

[And as for why she's listening to his heartbeat so thoroughly!] It's just nice to hear. Pokemon heartbeats are all a little different depending on their type, I just want to know yours. [A pause.] Is it always so fast, though?

[ What...! ] N-no, it's just kinda an exciting morning! So I'm-- excit....ed-- wait what, your dad's a human?!

[ He should have-- no what's he thinking, there's no way he would see that coming. A mixed human and Pokémon family?! It's not unheard of, most famously in this region one of the Elite Four is like that and she gets a lot of publicity but Still. Still, you don't expect some wild Sylveon you caught to be -

Oh...? ]

I didn't know?!

[She finally sits up a little to look at him properly.] It's not like there was any reason for it to come up.

[He's really surprised about it! And she has no idea why.]

They're not mad. Remember that first battle I was in? I made sure to cry out loudly enough, I think mom heard me.

[At the time it would have sounded like an especially excited battle cry, that's all. And considering that Rin had yet to wake up to his face being chewed off it was safe to say that her family knew one way or another.] I think you passed his gym already, to be honest? Or maybe it's just coming up ... All I know is that once we get to the snow, we might run into Koji.

[When she grins so genuinely the sparkles shine.] I can't wait to show him what I look like! Ohhh, maybe he's found a Trainer now, too! I hope he doesn't bully them around or anything...

[Koji's kind of a little shit?? Maybe??? Glaceons are weird, yo, so she could see it going either way depending on the trainer.]

[ The first battle she was in, on his team... that was as he was descending the mountain and he was fending off against a Glalie that scared the crap out of him. But wait, if that mountain was close enough to her home that her mom could hear it, even if that was a very loud cry... Then they probably past it, right? Or- ]

Uh, your dad's not Zed, right?

[ That powerhouse focused Normal type leader he got his third badge from and met two towns before the mountain that they met on. He didn't get to meet the one in the City before the mountain, and they're almost at the town were he'll maybe try for his fourth badge. But he suddenly feels super awkward, surprised at this revelation?

... Um. ]

Man! I bet they would be excited though!

No, his name is Masaomi.

[She has some trouble getting the syllables about but it's understandable enough. Junko decides that a proper use of her new body is to fit it up against Rin's so that they're effectively cuddling. It also means he's stuck with her ass on his lap because she's sort of turned onto her back here, and shifted the blanket so that it's over both of them, and her tail is bent, the base of it is likely easily felt against his shirt.]

They might not even recognize me!

[It's not like Sylveon's are ridiculously common, though ....] I can't wait to see my dad's face, though! Ah, but that's only if we happen to be passing through, if that's okay! You still have badges to earn!

[Don't get off track, Rin.]

[ This is sort of a compromised position... How does he even feel her tail like this? He's not even sure, man. But he ass is - against him... Or something. Her ass isn't bad either? Fuck. He's totally going to get turned on like this and that's weird so he should focus on the conversation at hand instead of trying to think on every little movement of her new squishy body ]

Oh... oh! I uh, I probably met your brother then! Yamato, right? He's kinda tall? I was passin' through the city your dad's the leader in before I got on the mountain you were on, and Yamato told me he was out of town for a while, so he couldn't take challengers. I asked if it'd be more than a week and he didn't know, so we kinda moved on.

[ He says that almost apologetically, though ]

Aw, you've already met him then!

[Junko pouts, and maybe her sparkles dim a bit for a second before she evens out again.] If he's a tall guy that seemed super mellow and focused on you while you were talking, that was definitely him. I guess dad must have hopped off somewhere with mom again ...

[Junko would bet money they were off rolling around together somewhere half the time.]

Well, we can always circle back around later, it's not like they're going anywhere.

[........ Wait.] This means I'll have to battle my mom.

[Oh no.]

Haha yeah, that was him! Like you're not really sure if he's cool or night! That sort of thing!

[ He probably shouldn't say that about her brother... Oh well too late... But he laughs a little and nods his head, because yeah, they can circle back there! Of course they can - family, after all? But all the same, that's... ]

I thought you was saying you're all strong now!

[ And his brother is the one he wants to surpass most of all! ... That said, Yukio might have started way before him, but Yukio is still a developing trainer too. They're both getting stronger, but it's not like either of them are E4 or anything ]

That was definitely him!

[No, that's ... Yamato. If you don't know him he can really come across that way but when you spend some time with Yamato his Actual Cool shines through. It's not an insult so much as a general facet of his personality.]

I am! [She groans and flops on him a little.] But mom is ridiculously hardcore! She's a Fire Type!

[And they're always so intense and always amped up to twelve about everything, especially battling.] ... Even if it's by the skin of my teeth, I'll still win though. Somehow.

Wouldn't it be better for me to rely on someone else if she's a fire type and you're scared to fight her?

[ they are all a team, you know... But still. A fire type isn't the worst possible type for her all things considered! Still, he nods a little ]

But I know you'd give yer all.

[ She's so ... squishy... against him... ]

I'm not scared!

[Intimidated is a way better word!!! And it's not the same thing as being scared!!] I'll be able to help, at least! Koji would never let it go if he heard I chickened out ...

[And her parents might be sort of disappointed in her, too.

Is squishy a bad thing, Rin? Just something, man. She's comfy and doesn't want to move.]

We can worry about it when we get there.

[There's no need to circle back that way just yet, and she'd like to see them but things are fine as they are right now.]

[ No, squishy is kind of a good thing honestly...

But still... ]

Hey, I'm not saying I'd use you at all! I mean, you're one of the strongest on my team, obviously!

[ Haha... ha. That said, he's kind of ... feeling around her back now, what with her front against him like this. And it's squishy. Even through the sweater ]

[And yet he acts as if it isn't positive!! Well, not that she's particularly aware one way or another, Rin's comfortable so she's just unlikely to move anytime soon unless he's dedicated to pushing her off. Her tail flip-flaps back and forth under the blanket.]

Obviously.

[She's a little vain.]

Battling aside ... You'll probably like them a lot, but we still have a lot to see, right?

'M sure I will! And uh, we could turn back?

[ Even if it would be sort of dumb to, right as they get right to the edge of a new town, that is... But they could do it, if she wanted!

Even if the Trainer usually decides those things... ]

Rin.

[She sits up a little to poke his cheek, her expression doesn't match her sparkles again!] Don't be indecisive just because I can talk! You have a goal and that's more important!

[After all, she's here to help him reach it, and because she cares about him! Her family isn't going anywhere! Or, well, Yamato probably is but that's okay. He's the type that probably comes home a lot anyway, and it'd actually be cool to run into him on the road!]

As a man, you have to be clear! You've been doing a good job so far, so don't trip up now!

[Vain and opinionated as hell.]

H-hey, I'm just saying, family is important, you know! [ That, and while he does try to be loving and kind to all of his Pokémon (hell, two of them have changed because of all that) it's somewhat different when they can actually talk. He feels like he generally understands their feelings normally, but talking and having a (mostly) human face...?

It's enough to make you rethink things.

Not to least of which is how squish her butt feels against his lap and how he's pretty sure that her -- well. What's between her legs is brushing up against him, just a little? Maybe? He's not sure, it feels warm and he's not sure if that's her, him, or both of them and it's distracting.

A man? Okay, okay. His goal is a bit... well, no, it's important to him ]

Okay, we'll see them again anyway though! I mean, I promised yer brother we'd meet again and we'd battle that time. So it's a man thing and a promise, so I ain't gonna go back on it and it'll definitely happen!

[ There, that's a more Trainer way to do it ]

[Tail, Rin. It's a cute little curved up pink tail that probably feels like a very solid feather, thank you very much.

But if there's anything out of the ordinary here then Junko remains totally unaware, that or she's a splendid actress. All extra-feeling limbs stop their activity as she pays attention to his answer, her eyes half closed and largely unseeing - the warmth they're sharing makes her feel kind of like pudding, relaxed but solid, and happy - and when he's done she nods gently.]

That's better.

[That sounds more like Rin, so she can accept it with a warm little smile.]

I still can't believe it took you so long to wake up....

[Yes, she can, but still.]

[ Why are they even sitting like this wouldn't it -

Whatever just. Okay it's keeping her warm, and he relaxes a little and hopes she's in contorting herself too much to hold the position. Wouldn't be good for her to be pretzeled up on her first day. He washes his hands of this. And so much so that, ]

What, it was early. Still is.

[ He can say that while he pets her, right? Pets her ... well, it would be weird to do behind her neck or her back now, so let's just keep up with her scalp and around her ears ]

[She only has to contort when she feels the need to look at him for a long time, or at a particular angle. After all, Junko's ... Short, so mostly it's kind of easy to just look up and lean to one side a little.]

I told you that you could go back to sleep.

[She wouldn't even be upset! The petting ends up being a good decision, though, the spot in the middle of her neck and near the base of her bow are still the optimal spots, earning him the same cooing noise of pure joy that she'd let out in her normal form. Her vocal chords are able to replicate that sound near perfectly - half the time. Every other instance of it is much closer to a high-pitched, human moan.]

And you drooled on my stoma - riiiight there! [She pushes her head into his hand like an overgrown cat.] Oh that's so nice!

[May the Heavens save you if you stop now, Rin.]

[ What was that about his drool?

...

Probably not important, because the little cooing sound is nice and the added commentary that he can understand other than the noises which speak of approval is actually sort of nice. Rin grins, keeping up that same spot for her, smiling a bit more openly himself. He was a little worried about this and that and it's still sort of weird he knows she's naked from the waist down under the blanket, but it's feeling more natural now.

Like it's his Junko. Which is was, of course. Even if they could talk now. ]

Haha, okay, so I did know a thing or two about spots to go for!

[If he's worried about things then he should say something! It's better to resolve issues as they arise!! Which Junko can't do if Rin doesn't say something anyway. If nothing else it means she can remain in this blissful state, being petted just right and occasionally shivering from how inherently satisfying it feels.]

Obviously! You're even better at it than Yamato!

[And her big brother's a very good petter!]

Get under the bow, too! [The one downside is that now she can be so much more vocal about what she wants.]

Whoa, really? But okay, you got it!

[ Under the bow...

Well, let's do it! He reaches around her head and shifts okay, around her ears and - under the bow? He carefully digs in two fingers there, getting below the bow and the tentacle feeler things on either end of it. He's pretty sure he's got it and she'll tell him if he did, but, ]

Got it, right?

[In her usual form it's a difficult place to reach just because her head isn't all that big, but as a human there's more hair, more space - more room to get there, essentially. And as a result Junko isn't exactly prepared for the eventual feelings. Now, had Audrey been out of her Pokéball instead of sleeping like the happily lazy fucker she was, she'd have probably warned Rin about spots which were meant to feel normal and affection but could feel unintentionally arousing as a gijinka.

But Audrey's asleep, and Junko is left to deal with it on her own, so completely alarmed by the jolt that makes a path from the top of her head downward, it's almost kind of dizzying.]

Y-Yeah ...

[.... She just has to be quiet and then he'll keep doing it, right? Or maybe that'll seem weird since she's always been very vocal during pettings but if she makes noise it feels like it won't sound even vaguely normal, so. Keeping quiet is the middle ground.]
