[Futurelandia] The Thanksgiving and Early December Post

[ It's been around a month since everything started to change. And frankly, a damn sure more things have changed even in that month. There's simplistic ones, such as Masaomi getting a vasectomy which even if he tried to keep it on the downlow, everyone found out about because of what a whiner he was for his week of medical abstinence and everyone felt after that for how he proceeded to fuck every relevant woman in the house and who would sleep with him out of the house into submission for the next two or three days. Everyone sort of had a rude awakening there.

But then, some changes were bigger and more serious. A new member joined there pack (Veroncia) not all that long ago, and it was much to everyone except some of the adult's surprise. Everyone had to learn their new pecking order and where she fit in with the rest of them. Masaomi and Nariko continued their rituals and continued their seeing other people, to mixed results from both. Audrey was hanging around the house more, though she hadn't had the recommended Talk with Masaomi about joining, despite making this something of a second home for her. And of course, Junko's training continued despite the week long hiatus from it.

Everyone was changing, and everyone was adapting. Yamato even had a sexy car now. And at the culmination of everything, a sort of milestone in the midst of everything, there was Thanksgiving, the lead up to it, and the follow up after it leading into December. A time when a lot of people hung out in one house, and then things got weirdly tense for a variety of reasons. God bess us, every one. ]

Ah.... Ahaaa. [ Ethan folds his hands together, and he smiles. He gets that distant look on his face which shows he's plotting something utterly insane and unreasonable, like that fancy dinner he set up at his house the day after Thanksgiving where he had even picked out her dress for her somehow knowing all of her sizes. He smiles all the wider, and he nods vigrously at the end of it - ]

Well then! If everyone else shall be suitable occupied, I will steal you away for both the Eve and the Day itself. We'll have a holiday to ourselves and spend it all together.

[That's really not a good look and she suddenly regrets this promise, but ... She's supposed to be his girlfriend. Maybe Yamato was right, and no one was really meant to be with one person.] I guess I'll definitely have to meet your parents, then!

[What this really means is 'please tell me we won't be completely alone'. It's not something she should fear, the guy didn't even have enough passion to throw her down and fuck her, but all the same she can't help being a little ... Concerned, at times. It's a really weird balance, and she can't pretend to completely understand it.]

[ He was contradicting her now, uncrossing his hands and giving her a look like a kicked puppy that she would suggest otherwise! She... for real?! After all, she could meet Mother today at least.

[She frames this an innocent, gently wide-eyed question. That's really all she'd meant! Really! She wasn't trying to imply anything! Probably!] I mean, I just don't want you to get into trouble!

[She's not at all concerned that he might lock her up wherever they go. She's going to have to strap her cellphone to her skin.]

Oh Junko, you don't need to worry. I'll take care of everything! You just need to come over and I'll give you a grand surprise fitting of our love.

[ SEE ] Just ask your father for permission, and we'll be off - though if they are so busy, perhaps they wouldn't even notice.

[ He says this all with a smile, his scent stirring a bit in the air. He rocks on his heels, even. Sure he was sitting, but he still does ]

[Yes he would, if she were the one to tell him who she would be with. Which is why she's not going to do that even if the alarm bells in her head are saying that's a terrible idea, and why doesn't she want to live. What if he knocks her out and chains her up or something!?

Either way, that means we'll be alone for two whole days.

[While there's an implicative hint to her tone mostly she just wonders if they're going to stare at each other a lot.]

[ He'll be able to plan so much! He can arrange a dinner, get them a nice date on the town, book a hotel room for them... there's so many possibilities. He could even chain her up in a dungeon - oh, but he wouldn't! He doesn't even think of it, his mind is full of pure and glorious and not at all (but definitely actually) creepy thoughts. ]

[She's going to tell Yamato where she's going.]

I'm sure it will be. [He's probably going to big another godawful dress for her. It was nice (creepy) that he knew her size and all so at least it wasn't uncomfortable, but his taste was so ... So ... Not her. Was it just her or did it maybe kind of resemble his mom? Or she was imagining things.]

But until then we have to finish with Christmas!

Yes, we do. [ A beat, and he pulls out of his reverie, his scent settled, but now definitely filling the room with that clinical sort of smell. He seems to recall something all at once. Oh- ]

My gifts to you, of course. You should finish those presents' wrappings, my own are in another room.

[.... He's supposed to be her boyfriend so she probably shouldn't be so surprised. All his limbs were attached so it wouldn't be a bloody ear or whatever! Even more reason to be excited!]

[ He looks almost hurt to think she wouldn't think he'd get some! But then he decides its her humbleness. He shakes his head and smiles at her, leaning forward. She really does smell slightly horny now, even he can notice is. He can't know that his scent doesn't provoke that much in her but maybe the frustration got to her through the disturbed ]

Still, he smiles for her own smile, leaning forward and having his clinical scent flutter a bit more in the room. He leans forward and then finally sits up, stands, and he wraps his arms around her, kissing her forehead. ]

And you asked the same thing as me? [ He shakes his head ] Either we both must open them apart or we must happen them when it's not the day of.

[ But all the same... he was her first? He was her First! ] I am honored though.

[ Audrey was in her pack now wasn't she? She has seemed even more skanky than usual at school. He could swear he saw her deep throating a pen one day. ]

She's also still more than a little surprised that he's a little revved, here. She can't imagine what might have pulled it off, nor is she entirely sure that it's a good thing. Maybe it was because she forced herself to keep her hands off of him? Or was it something about the presents?

Well, either way when he holds her she lets herself fall into it a bit, smiling. She does love the affection.]

Stop, it's probably strange. [But!] How about we Face Time and open them together when everyone else has gone to sleep.

[ That was a joke, like a funny haha joke that he would never do unless he needed to get her away from ugly external influences like her father or that blonde bimbo. Or if she wanted it. But either way, he rocks with her in his arms, smiling at her. ]

It's not as appealing as doing it in person, but it does sound romantic. ... Yes, let's do that, Junko.

[Where is all of this coming from? Doesn't he know what it's going to do to her? He's definitely got quite a bit to inhale there, but she refrains from kissing him.] It's not, but at least this way neither of us has to wait until New Years Eve. I'm already nervous about what I got you! I can't wait that long to find out if you like any of it.

[When she smiles up at him it's actually kind of soft because his scent really is having a bit of an effect on her.]

[ They have been dating a month. Even if he's in denial about the whole thing, he does know that the slut gene is strong in her, and when she smells like this, as it continues to spiral like this, he can't deny it. and as such, he shakes his head and in a very direct tone, he asks of her, the exact wrong thing but something she's not doubt heard before now- ]

Junko, tell me what to do.

No. [Junko steps back, closer to his bed but definitely out of his embrace. She brought enough wrapping paper for the last two gifts and it's about time that she finished that. And once everything is finally wrapped it's probably best to go home and help Yamato survive his Christmas shopping.]

Will you help me with the tape?

[Of course he would. Because he was the kind of guy who needed to be told what to do with a young woman who wanted to have sex.]

[And if one prescribed to the idea that the body was always more honest than the mind or spirit then she's kind of lying here. Junko didn't believe that, personally, so to her it's a perfectly valid response. She gets out her little rolls of wrapping paper and - His desk or his bed? Which is better to wrap on? Probably the bed, all things considered but she'll just go for the floor. It's neutral territory.]

I'm waffling on keeping the not that sexual schtick or weirdo kink. Should be former. But still

[ The bed would be much better. In fact, he motions for her to join him on the bed for this wrapping! Because why would they not! Seriously. And if she's certain, then he nods, accepting her - at least in this - answer. (she would totally be lying by her father and possibly her mother's standards tho come back to the training gosh)

Still, With the tape on his finger and a concerned but event look on his face, perhaps even a hint of an electric charge because there was a lot of scent in this room, Ethan says to her ]

[ Also around this time Yamato just texted Junko "help me please" ]

[She looks up at him and then decides that, yes, she's being a little silly here. The bed's just fine so she gathers everything up and joins him there, putting his father's gift in her lap first. It comes in a lovely little case so that it won't be wrinkled. She's very good at wrapping so all of her motions are precise and easy.]

That's - [She feels her phone vibrate and holds the paper still while Ethan is meant to tape it shut. One look at the screen and she can't help smiling. Of course he needs help.] It's my brother.

["Meet me at the mall in forty-five, I'm across town so it's gonna be a bit. You're buying me dinner btw"]

My instincts tell me it has to be the lesser sexual but it is a bit dull for this AU - we will see

[ And he tapes it! Honestly, he looks very excited to see her needing him like this, that they can have a couples moment like this. And then he looks up to see her smiling like that...

It really was a shame that her brother interrupted their happiness like this, when she was finally smiling like that for him (errr....) but he accepts it with a shake of his head ]

Ah, of course.

[ "fine fine ill buy you anything you want just help me" ]

["calm down I'll be there soon."

And then she puts her phone away and won't look at it again because it's rude to have it out when she's with someone else. If it was her parents or something that'd be different but Yamato could be reasonable and wait. She moves the gift in to get the one side, cutting the excess so Ethan can tape it again for her.

... But the thing is that she doesn't have a lot to say, and she's kind of lost in her own thoughts, not many of which are immediately positive.]

[ The punchline of this moment, as is many moments that she shares with Ethan... that Ethan assumes that this is a comfortable silence. He assumes that they are having a good time here as boyfriend and girlfriend, and they are simply moving through the motions of making these gifts for his - their - parents.

He tapes as she prompts him, and he smiles wide the whole time, grinning ear to ear and positively swimming with his pleasure from seeing her do this with him ]
