[Audrey's ninety percent sure he forgets that half of the time, so it bears mentioning. But yeah this is full on awful of them both and they're sort of exasperatedly shouting at each other without even really arguing. She's completely forgotten he's nearly three times her age or whatever.]

But he thinks better of it, rolling his eyes and groaning as he rocks back on the bed, folding his legs in on himself so he doesn't quite end up on his back but he can sort of rock in place there in an agitated way which in theory might calm down his cock.

[If you're going to defend your friend, defend him against something that is actually believable, and not a losing battle before it even gets moving! Audrey leans into the bed a little more, though, inhaling the scent and willing her body to finish calming down.]

No, I told Nariko I needed the week off and I offered to owe her a favor.

[Which ended up being looking out for Masaomi, though Audrey had immediately volunteered for that aspect before any talk of favors was exchanged.]

[ Sully might be frugal office worker but still! He could totally buy her something like that if he was trying to impress her! ... But he probably would laugh, anyway. Still, he sighs and hangs his head, about to say something like he's a favor to be tossed around... but he could at least hold on to some dignity...

Man he feels tired all over again. He sighs. ]

[Look, what Audrey wants bought for her is so not the point right now. She takes a deep, calming breathe and dials back a little in order to explain properly.]

Look, everyone was really worried this time around because it's the second time you've been in for something in less than six months. But I sort of thought it'd be weird for any of the guys to try and take care of you, but Nariko made a good point by saying that someone like Junko or Veronica would give in to you easily.

[Neither would have had the sense or control to deny Masaomi once he put his scent to use.] So I volunteered, and Nariko tried to dissuade me and insist Emily do it even though she's got a project for school she's working on. I convinced Nariko to let me keep you company if she'd help me get the week off.

[So it wasn't that he was a favor so much as a general exchange between two individuals. But at least he's got the whole story now.]

[ In the back of his mind he can't help but think isn't Ada the most suited for it then...? But then, Ada also had a job so she probably just had to keep that up. Not that being a student was that much fewer hours all things considered. Still, with a long, tired sounding sigh, and crawls back up the bd so he might flop on his back with his head resting on the pillows this time, spreading his legs a bit so as to not add any more pressure ]

[Ada not only had a full time job, she also had the worst kind of bedside manner. Neither Junko, Nariko, or Audrey could stand the idea of Ada being so serious and straightforward about it so she was kind of bumped out of the running by that triple triad.]

You don't owe me anything, I really do just want you to get better the first time so you don't have to deal with any abysmal setbacks.

[That she's getting something out of it is just cosmetic. If not for all this going on she'd have genuinely asked Masaomi for the break, too.]

Yeah, but it makes me sound more in control of everything if I can say a cool guy line like I owe you.

[ Apparently, he can still make quips. He closes his eyes, fighting back this strange wave of being tired. Did he get full? No, he's not that full. Maybe releasing his scent is exhausting when he's not used it in a while? Or he just wants to dull the injury?

He feels bad now, she's in a cute nurse outfit and everything.

Oh well, not like he's instantly asleep, he just shut his eyes a little ]

But it makes sense that he might get tired out, right? He's injured, in a sense, and the longer he's up and moving around and reacting the more quickly he'll be worn out, with his usual stamina nowhere to be found. The rest is an entirely fair set of assumptions as well.]

Whatever you say. Just know I'll be around if you need anything reasonable.

[So he can sleep if he wants.]

Does that include you tripping to add to a clumsy nurse sort of vibe?

[ This guy just thinks it's full of quips, doesn't he?

... But he yawned at the end of that one, so it does betray the mounting need for him to doze off. Still by the time he next wakes up (he hopes she doesn't intend to remain in the room, but maybe she'll just be studying in the bedroom?) he'll totally want to have some water and maybe even a shower. Not that she needs to handle that, but...

Oh and more/new ice ]

[She tilts her head at him because he definitely seems tired and so she doesn't say anything, kind of hoping he'll drift off. Audrey probably will stay in the room for a bit, but she'll also leave to change and to make sure about the ice, since it does idly occur to her.]

When you wake up I'll call you 'Master' in a warbling tone.

Not even sure if that'll be cute or funny or attractive...

[ He says this with another little yawn, and rolling his head t the side. Man, is he really this tired? He hopes not, still. But okay...

Yeah he's going to nod off ]

[Yeah well, she heard it in some weird visual novel thing Junko was playing, don't blame Audrey. She plays normal video games like Battlefield and shit. But, yeah, he's done for, so she doesn't say anything else. When she's relatively sure that he's kinda sorta out then it's time to get up and delicately collect all the trash and leftovers.

Audrey doesn't come back for a good thirty minutes, but his door opens again anyway and someone definitely leans over him to feel his forehead.]

[ Someone huh?

Well thirty minutes isn't a very long nap, but it's not like he's got a fever or anything - so he's sleeping pretty lightly. So he stirs a little even as he continues to rest here. He's not quite awake though, just opening an eye half-way and tilting his head ]

[Someone.]

Go back to sleep.

[It's not like she meant to wake him up, but apparently he wasn't nearly as out as she'd thought! So Not-Audrey kind of shifts out of his logical vision to tuck against his side, face turned in towards his chest. Dark hair, and a very faint, easy floral scent.

Which probably narrows it down to two people - Nariko or Junko, who are both the most dedicated to wearing perfume without being obnoxious about it.]

[ In his heart, he decides it's probably Nariko. He doesn't dare get up to confirm that and he doesn't really want to push things beyond what he needs to do right now. He probably should rest more, he spent most of the morning on the phone or the laptop trying to keep his business in order and stressing out too much about that and when he gets up again he'll need to do whatever is needed for him to shower.

And so he exhales, closing his eyes again and willing himself to sleep ]

[It can be easy to mistake Junko's voice for Nariko's, it's one of the rare physical traits Junko got from her mother, after all. And while she usually wouldn't answer it felt wrong not to, here, even if it's an accidental lie. Rather than wake him up again she just lies there with him, kind of dozing off herself.

She missed her dad, so fucking sue her.]

[ Hey, no one's suing anyone here! It's a fair feeling to have! Not that he yet connects it, drifting off to sleep with a smile. In the end though...

Well, baring any other issues he'll be asleep for the next four hours or so. So if she's still there or anyone else is there, he'll wake up to that. Or if someone gets him up before then ]

[Junko apparently does the same, though she would swear that she didn't remember being tired enough to conk out like that. But unlike her mother, Junko is an incredibly deep sleeper, so unless Masaomi plans on trying to rocket out of bed she's going to remain curled over him, dreaming about donuts.

At least she makes a cute sight.]

[ She does, albeit also a surprising one for a variety of reasons. What was Junko doing here? When did she come here? Why didn't Ada or Audrey or someone shoo her out? Had those ones been back between then and now and simply decided to leave her? His daughter is warm against him, and as he opens his eyes, looks her over...

He doesn't move, but he does wonder.

And he blinks, coming more and more to being awake. It's... still nice to see her, admittedly ]

[All very good questions! None of which will receive an answer because Junko's subconscious has no reason to be alarmed by her father's presence, and the lack of movement keeps her perfectly docile.

But considering that it's probably some incredibly weird hour in the day, one where she really shouldn't be sleeping, it might be a good idea to get her up and moving. Otherwise her entire sleep schedule will be fucked.]

[ Yeah it's only about three? He thinks it's about three - he reaches past her to get his phone off the nightshelf in order to both check what time it is and see if there's any personal or business texts or emails. Which might see Lisa panicking or serve as any explanation for his moment.

Oh no it's about four.

Okay, all the more. Once he's done with his phone, he sets them down and reaches around to pinch Junko's cheek ]

[... Four in the morning??

Either way, Junko makes a weird, high pitched noise that's only partially muffled by his chest, her body jerks and her knee probably bumps into some part of him a little awkwardly.]
