[Futurelandia] The Thanksgiving and Early December Post
[ It's been around a month since everything started to change. And frankly, a damn sure more things have changed even in that month. There's simplistic ones, such as Masaomi getting a vasectomy which even if he tried to keep it on the downlow, everyone found out about because of what a whiner he was for his week of medical abstinence and everyone felt after that for how he proceeded to fuck every relevant woman in the house and who would sleep with him out of the house into submission for the next two or three days. Everyone sort of had a rude awakening there.
But then, some changes were bigger and more serious. A new member joined there pack (Veroncia) not all that long ago, and it was much to everyone except some of the adult's surprise. Everyone had to learn their new pecking order and where she fit in with the rest of them. Masaomi and Nariko continued their rituals and continued their seeing other people, to mixed results from both. Audrey was hanging around the house more, though she hadn't had the recommended Talk with Masaomi about joining, despite making this something of a second home for her. And of course, Junko's training continued despite the week long hiatus from it.
Everyone was changing, and everyone was adapting. Yamato even had a sexy car now. And at the culmination of everything, a sort of milestone in the midst of everything, there was Thanksgiving, the lead up to it, and the follow up after it leading into December. A time when a lot of people hung out in one house, and then things got weirdly tense for a variety of reasons. God bess us, every one. ]

Do what, exactly?!
[He couldn't have - it's not like he read her mind or anything?! Right??
.... If this is a basic misunderstanding then just kill her, okay. It would be the merciful outcome.]
no subject
Not -- that! No, I'm sorry.
no subject
[A stupid bitch of a girlfriend.]
I'm gonna go find Masaomi. [She isn't actually, but she makes it look as if she's going back into the room again, where her mate is likely speaking idly or maybe just sitting there. That poor man was an even bigger fish out of water than Narko was.
It's going to take her a few minutes to realize that the answer she gave him wasn't right. Hindsight, and all that. ]
no subject
And the worst of it is that he watches her ass as she goes and whimpers. And he's left there, in that state...
Before he knows he needs to go find her. Or her stupid mate. Or both. They would be together, right? If they went at it here like they did that night (ugh, the noise...) everyone would notice-
( Masaomi is indeed trying to mingle, trying to look presentable and respectable and keep all the older people focused on him and not the siblings. It's deadful, but he is trying ) ]
no subject
There's the bathrooms, of course, but then it kind of sounds like someone is sniffling in there and she can't get herself off like that. There's an empty room that isn't being used, it's just a wide, blessedly empty space, so that's where she's going to be.
And Masaomi is still doing his best, so Nathan ends up with a choice. The mate, or his sister?]
no subject
He initially seeks out Masaomi, precisely because of a combination of that practical concern and because he wanted to talk to him some more. He's not even sure what about, but he knows it would be less complicated than his sister even if he really and truly wants to interact more with his sister. But when he sees the man there, entertaining a crowd with something between a joke and a magic show...
... Well, he feels bad that the mate is doing that. It should be his job. But then he also rationalizes, okay, if Masaomi's doing his job, then he, Nathan, will do Masaomi's job. And that's not underhanded at all shut up.
So yes, he goes to find Nariko in the end ]

It was easiest to lean back into the wall and just finger herself, hiking up the skirt of a dress that was really quite modest and so wasn't particularly easy to work around. She couldn't even hope to push it off her shoulders and grab her own tits, it had to be done through the material, and it was frustratingly thick.
She's so focused on getting rid of the wave of frustration that she isn't paying much attention to anything else.]
no subject
The moment he smells it, he knows he shouldn't be here, definitely knows he shouldn't look in the door and absolutely knows that he shouldn't push it open. And yet, he does all three of those things. He doesn't even know what he intends to do in order to "fill Masaomi's role" but when he steps into the room, is bathed in her scent once more, he could almost cry for the effect it has on him. Honestly, he probably does tear up. But he does click the door behind him and he turns to her to ask something he never realized before he needed to know- ]
Did you take the pill, or did I force you to take it?
[ That day, when she snapped, she had said he forced her to take it. Had blasted him having them at all. Honestly, even if she did volunteer, it changes nothing of his actions, beginning with him having them in the first place. But still. If they are to start fresh, this baggage was almost as strong as this funeral they were at, and in the midst of this scent bomb, more immediately relevant ]
no subject
What does it even matter?
[It doesn't feel necessary to her, not even vaguely. But she sighs and looks at the ground, unbearably aware of her own arousal and how innapropriate it is.]
I took it.
[She hadn't known what it was or what it might do to her, but she hadn't let herself think about it. She had tried to believe that whatever it was couldn't have been that bad.]/small>
I'm sorry this is so stupid both for you playing him after this and this itself
But Nathaniel's more than smart enough to know he's fooling himself with his huge wave of relief, even if he can't entirely convince his body, which sees him releasing scent again and outright whimpering at the smell of the room in here. It was such a mistake to come in here. He knows it was such a mistake to come in here. She wouldn't want him, or she would have made it more clear and even if she did she had her mate ( . . . ) and...
And he had just said he wasn't like that.
Nathaniel slaps his thighs (hard) which might alert the world to the fact he has a budding erection or at least it feels like he does, but it also hurts enough that it snaps him out of his trace. He really should not have been trying to count how many piercings his sister had on her cunt. ]
Right! Good. [ That wasn't good. He still tries to sound peppy ] That's all I needed to know so I'll just leave you to -- this. Sorry about that!
[ And he'll just turn... to go... ]
That was an experience no matter how many times I read it, a+
He.
What?
What the fuck?!
She continues to stand there awkwardly and, as the seconds pass, every desire to continue with life ebbs out of her. That was literally so strange and unexpected that the last thing on her mind is touching herself. She's still frustratingly horny but she's ... You know what, fuck this. She's leaving to find the nearest gas station and buy some cigarettes. If anyone actually needs her they can attempt a phone call otherwise: Ollying the fuck out here.]
no subject
You think you can't get any lower sometimes and then! You just do.]
Hey.
[Nathan smiles kind of idly at whomever Masaomi was talking to or fielding but they aren't his focus and they'll probably wander off very soon. ... Should he tell him where Nariko is? No. Better to avoid going over all that except for the - well, the moving part. He should at least man up to that.]
no subject
Heeey!
[ And turning back to the aunt- ] If you'll excuse me, Nathaniel here needs me. The grieving, you know.
[ And he shrugs before leaning up towards Nathan, putting his arm around his shoulder, and walking away before anyone answers ]
no subject
Thanks.
[He doesn't care where they're going as long as it's far away from the corpse that was his mother.] You're pretty good at that distracting business. [Why wasn't there alcohol here? He should have arranged for that, poor taste or not.] So, she and I were talking [Nariko. His sister. His sister masturbating in an empty room and - he was good. He did the good thing, the right one.] and I was considering - thinking of moving nearby.
[At least he got it out in less than five minutes.]
no subject
Aaaha, don't you live in that Rome house you're so proud of though?
[ It's a cagey answer and he knows it, but he's ribbing the guy a little ] Which, speaking of, you get to keep. Thank you.
no subject
That's not the point.
[There's a tiny little grin at that, though. It dies quickly.] If I'm moving into the neighborhood I'll sell it.
[He tries to speak seriously now, straighten his back and make this about something other than just his sister and their fucked up past.]
I want to be near my family, Masaomi, and that includes you and my nieces and nephews. But it's not a decision anyone is trying to make without you.
no subject
And he clears his throat before moving on to Alpha Voice, sounding at once more together and confident than he'd yet been able to display for his "brother in law" ]
When do you expect you'll be able to move in, Nathaniel-san? I actually run a real estate business, so if you give me your price point, I can find a place.
no subject
You're okay with it? Just like that?
[There was no point in even looking for a house if Masaomi didn't want him around in the first place, it's logical assume that he's got a green light but if it seems too good to be true then there's a chance it is.]
no subject
[ But all the same, there was one rule. He holds up a finger and- ] As long as it's understood it's my house, and my family, and my pack. It's your family as well, but if I've any concerns... mm. I don't really expect them, though.
[ That might have been a threat, but it might also have been promise. He's not even sure himself. the stories he's heard of Nathan are many and contradictory. In the end, he doesn't think he's a danger to anyone. But ... well, if NAthan were to get weird with Junko, for example, he'd break that perfect nose of his ]
no subject
Okay. You won't regret it.
[Deep breathes, deep breathes!
But that said.]
I don't really care about price as long as it's relatively near you guys, and it's big enough to house some of my stuff.
no subject
[ He says this with a shrug, but also takes this moment to turn away from nathan to get a little sandwich. While the other man can't see his face, Masaomi allows himself a slight grimace. Nariko offered that without asking him... huh. Well, whatever, it's not necessarily a big deal, particularly with emotions rising high today. But a pleasant look is back on his face in the instant he turns back around ]
I'll be sure to cut you a good deal.
[ Maybe.
But these are all peripheral concerns, no doubt the man is much more excited about being around his family. Masaomi wonders how his children will react to Nathan... Yamato will probably be confused, maybe even wary. Koji would be easy enough to win over. Junko would no doubt be the most curious, but also the hardest to win in the long term. At least, he predicts at a glance ]
Sorry to say you'll have a lot of people to be introduced to.
no subject
No, that's perfect! It's fine! I'm really looking forward to it!
[Everyone on his father's side was dead or otherwise missing. His mother was gone and, as Masaomi had likely gleaned, while his mother had been fond of him Nathan was still a son out of wedlock. The rest of that whole group tolerated him a bit better than Nariko but the difference was only just barely visible. But now he had an actual family, people to spend time with and do things with and grow with.
It's the alcohol that almost makes him want to cry a bit, here. He doesn't, of course, but still. Masaomi's displeasure goes completely unnoticed.]
no subject
[ This is said with only a slight level of sarcasm. It sounds nice to him, all things considered. Still, while he does stroke his chin, he also laughs it off, shaking his head ]
I'm sure we can work out the details after this. For now, though.
[ He leans forward and pulls the guy into a half-hug while he does hold the little sandwich in his free hand. Might as well welcome him into the family even if he does have his confusion and misgivings ]
no subject
It might start out as a half-hug but it becomes a loose, full one in order to help protect the tiny sandwich. He's big on hugs, okay?]
Thank you.
[.... Should he mention that he has no idea where this man's 'mate' is and they should probably go find her?
Nah. No use in ruining the moment.]
no subject
... Wow, full hug. amazing ]
It doesn't hurt me, Nathaniel.
[ Let's drop the san for now ]
