[Futurelandia] An Eventful Valentines and beyond (happy new year)

[ Nathan moved into tow and that was awkward, Yamato and Nariko probably have some sort of a relationship and that's awkward, Yamato's been trying to make new friends so that's interesting, and Masaomi and Nariko are hopefully solid as anything after that trip, Nathan and Yamato complications aside. There's a new pack member that Masaomi met at a party and Nariko met in class. It's been over a month since the new year began and the old one concluded.

A lot's changed and yet not a lot had at all.

And frankly, things were probably just going to change that much more in the coming days and weeks. this might be edited to something more poetic later once we conclude more stuff about that other log ]

[ Maybe he's just complacent. In the back of his head, the Alpha knows (or at least assumes) that with the right words and concentration of his scent he could make anyone in his back do whatever he asked. It's that power (and the fact he doesn't exercise it that often) which makes him feel as powerful as he does.

It really was cute- Audrey was just cute period. But three days? Man, that's rough. But he suspects that she would enjoy that. It's longer than he would expect, probably longer than he'd manage period. ]

He missed Nariko, he missed Nariko a lot ]

[She thinks about it a lot, actually. It's funny how you come to love people and why, but it's all made sense as she's worked it out in her head, so it's okay. It's okay that he probably misses the woman that's completely meant for him, but she thinks it's okay that he's here with her too, saying these things.

But Audrey will have to examine why those words make her body pulse before she can even think to restraint herself. It's so awful, because she'd been working hard to contain herself. Nariko had given her a job for Masaomi's safety above all else, and now she was failing at it.]

[... A baby. She didn't really want a child with someone who wouldn't be a father to her kid, but can that be made up for since she really does love Masaomi?]

[ That's a lame response to him, at least in how she words it. But that little trill of her scent, the whiff of cotton candy which threatens to make his own scent activate as well, that's the real answer, the real reward. His eyes shine underneath her, and he grins that much wider, the depths of those same eyes boring into her own.

This was a promise he shouldn't make before talking it over with Nariko. And maybe Sully too, to be fair.

And so, his eyes still locked in her own, he releases it - just a little hint, a little taste of his scent he's sure will serve to overwhelm her or at least influence her after not smelling it for two weeks, as much as he feels confident about it now. And in a commanding voice, he turns this around entirely ]
